Dirt, beggars, homeless ...... Cardiff bus station at 6:30 on 3rd January.
Having seen the cost of travelling by train, we took the coach from Cardiff to Heathrow. The coach was not only cheaper, but more straightforward than the train. There we no changes, so once abard, there was nothing to do until reaching the airport.
It was an uneventful and uncomfortable three hour journey. I was very happy to reach the airport and be able to stand up and walk around.
